Habe DL2025E gut empfangen. 20.14 UTC in JO73DI (Lebehn, Bungalowsiedlung) SONY Weltempfänger ICF-SW7600GR unterm Rosenbogen im Garten. (Kein Witz: der Rosenbogen verbessert den Empfang, leider blühen noch keine Rosen…) Aufnahme war nicht möglich.

Gegenstationen habe ich direkt keine gehört, was auch am lokalen QRM lag. Hier im Ferienhaus machen sich Vorschaltgeräte und Fernsehgerät bemerkbar. … Waren es die Bedingungen oder geht die Antenne auf dem Tradi gut in Richtung Britische Inseln? |

QTH JN59, about 500 km from DL2025E. • Logs heard with SONY ICF-2001D + LW Loop (home made, in-house, tuned for resonance, 28 windings, 50 cm outer diameter).• Antenna bearing S/N to minimize local noise. Almost perfect for DL2025E reception, but insensitive towards the UK and (Northern) France.• There was quite a bit of CW tfc. this evening, incl. the special event station DL2025E from Rostock / Warnemünde.• The 140 s audio snippet and the respective spectrogram intentionally contain other CW signals, too, to allow a comparison of the reception quality. • All the signals identified here are given in the ‘Evaluated Spectrogram’, compiled from an audio recording of the received stations. • It also contains the precise timing in seconds from 20:00z, as well as a separate UTC scale (yellow) with minute ticks. • The DL2025E top green curve signal evaluation gives a (non-calibrated) relative signal trend of the signal over noise (amplitude difference) for the entire duration. • The signal amplitude is averaged from the signal bandwidth (upper 2 dotted horizontal lines, red field and curve above). • The background noise amplitude is averaged from the noise bandwidth (lower 2 dotted horizontal lines, blue field and curve above), chosen to contain no loud signals. • Reception was generally acceptable to fair, with few deep QSB dips. • While some details about the station were given online, there was no information about the (PEP) power of the transmitter and the approximate radiated power. • This is a very nice initiative to revive the otherwise rather empty 630 m (WSPR excepted)! • The CW text was manually keyed, thus brain decoding worked clearly better than the software approach (FLdigi). • FLdigi produced this text initially: – A CQ CQDE DL2025E DL202V 5 DL2025E +K (reply unreadable, G4CLO almost perpendicular to the loop) – G4CLO GE RST559 5V9XQ6 JO64BE JO64BEBK (reply unreadable, G4CLO almost perpendicular to the loop) – OKROY= NAMEIS H ELMUT H ELMUT=PSE LOC LOC?BK Thank you! Starting at exactly 2000 UTC, all passes are now visible as a narrow spectrogram, with the timeline starting at 2000 UTC below, e.g., 5:10.0 is 20:05:10 UTC, etc. The width is simply determined by my screen width, so each ‘line’ here is a good 51 seconds. Occasionally, another signal can be seen just below the DL2025E.
